Napoleon on Horse
This bronze statue by Molise is
handmade
and cast in the traditional Lost
Wax Casting Process. Napoleon
was a very well known leader who
had a great affection for
horses. He had many different
horses during his lifetime. One
of the Emperor's favorites was a
gray Arabian named Vizir. This
horse was a gift from the Sultan
of Turkey. Vizir now resides
stuffed in the Musée de l'Armée
in Paris.
